Mission Statement!

Well people we will be up and running with our first episode of Shanked TV! in a few weeks. Here is our mission statement, or our non-mission statement as you might have it.

Mission statement: Our mission statement is not to have a mission statement. Anything you learn, see, or hear within this space is all by happen chance and accident. We reserve the right to offend or defend anything at anytime without logic or reason. We only aim to define through word, sight, and sound this time in space.

The Next Step

So my next project has finally been started. One of the things I wanted to do for Dean's class was start a Video blog TV show. Sort of in the same endeavor as shows like Rocket-boom or Ask a Ninja. The only problem was doing a video cast that I would enjoy doing that people would want to watch. I started going through ideas, but I just couldn’t come up with the really great one. Then it hit me. Anybody that knows me knows that I am a huge geek. So of course I would have friends along that same path. Well when we go out, our conversations can tend to get way out there. We will have those moments that you just wish you had a camera for. Well we may not have a camera, but man we sure as hell gain ideas to use for what I think will be a quite funny show, or so we hope. The host will be my friend Brian. He is the one who recorded this clip that I have blogged here. I will be taken part in the show also. It will consist of minor skits mixed with our weird rants on the topic of pop-culture that we have chosen for that week. The main thought of the show is more so what if you were to lock a group of monkeys in a room with typewriters and give them all joints and 40’s. which is the description Brian has given for how thoughts are processed within my head. The name we have for our new show is Shanked TV. This clip that you are watching here, is not really of the show, but will just give a small hint of how I these some of our ideas are given life.
